Dining On the Mountain Options While Skiing in Telluride
Big Billie’s serves All-American family food in a relaxed casual atmosphere and is located at the base of lifts 1 & 10. Beer and wine are available.
Giuseppe’s Restaurant is located at 11,890 feet at the top of lift 9 and offers views all the way to the La Sal Mountains in Utah. A local favorite, Giuseppe’s serves sandwiches, soup, chili, snacks, beer, wine, and limited mixed drinks.
Gorrono’s Ranch serves burgers, chili, and other All-American fare at this historic Basque sheep herding ranch located mid-mountain on the Misty Maiden ski run under lift 4. The outdoor deck and “beach” offer breathtaking views of the Wilson Range and are a favorite stop to enjoy a drink, as well as, BBQ in the smokehouse.
Vino Alpino is a European style hut high on the mountain near the top of Gold Hill at 12,140 feet featuring renowned wines, cheeses and appetizer plates. Vino Alpino also offers spectacular views and a cozy atmosphere.
X Café is a hip, Italian-influenced hangout serving breakfast and lunch, including salads, panini sandwiches, pasta and more. X Café is located at the base of the Telluride Trail ski run, adjacent to Chair 8 and the Gondola station in Telluride, featuring an outdoor patio which is a favorite with locals for après ski.
